Sunset Club was initially established as sports club in 1989, with extensive sports and dining facilities. The area of club is spread over 45,000 square yards on Khayaban-e-Jami Phase-II (Ext). The construction of the club as a sports club commenced immediately after its inception. The opening ceremony of the club was performed by General (Retd) Mirza Aslam Baig, then Chief of the Army Staff on 9 Aug 1991 when club came fairly into a good shape.
